Rain has not been the only thing that has been consistent these first two weeks of camp. So has our Lord’s faithfulness. Already, we have been seeing brilliant displays of His work in campers, as many have been accepting Jesus for the first time (PARTY!) or renewing their commitments to living for Jesus. In these first weeks, God has not only worked in campers but in staff as well, giving them energy, wisdom, but also teaching the staff great lessons on patience, humility, and loving on those who come through the camp gates. Fruitful is an understatement in the ways we are seeing the Lord work this summer.
Please pray for the camps still ahead, that the Lord would continue working in the campers and staff that are coming. Also for wisdom for the staff in dealing with this crazy weather, and perseverance through the fluctuating weather and attitudes (campers and staff ).
Thank God for the many ways He is speaking in those at camp, especially campers learning and receiving Christ for the first time. More names in the Lamb’s Book of Life! Awesome stuff.
